At Doxie Dachshund Puppies, we warmly welcome local adopters to our home for a personal puppy pickup experience. Join us on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 4 PM, where my wife and I will be thrilled to meet you. During your visit, we’ll review your puppy’s health records and provide essential training tips to help you get started. We also encourage you to spend quality time with your new Dachshund to foster that special bond before you head home.

For our non-local families, we offer a trustworthy shipping program to safely deliver your Dachshund to your doorstep. We partner with reputable pet transportation services that specialize in both cabin and cargo shipping. Our preferred method is cabin shipping, as it ensures your puppy travels in the safest and least stressful environment possible.

Before shipping, your puppy must be at least 10 weeks old and fully vaccinated. Shipping costs can range from $200 to $450, depending on the method and distance. Throughout the journey, you’ll receive regular updates from the shipping company to keep you informed about your puppy’s travel.

Cabin Shipping Process

  1. Choosing Cabin Shipping: Cabin shipping is our preferred method for transporting puppies because it allows them to travel in the cabin of the aircraft. This method minimizes stress and ensures a safer journey.

  2. Booking the Flight: Once you decide to proceed with cabin shipping, we coordinate with a reputable pet transportation company to book a flight that accommodates your puppy. We ensure that the flight is direct whenever possible to reduce travel time.

  3. Health and Age Requirements: Before shipping, your puppy must be at least 10 weeks old and fully vaccinated. We provide you with all necessary health documentation, including vaccination records and health certificates, to ensure compliance with airline regulations.
